Haici and Darius presented their work on neural audio upmixing (ICASSP 2022) and hyperbolic source separation (ICASSP 2023) at the Luddy AI Center Open House event.

All SAIGE students will be interning at various industry labs in this summer: Google (Darius and Anastasia), Adobe (Haici), and Meta (Tsun-An).

SAIGE members authored four papers accepted for publication at ICASSP 2023, including Darius Petermann’s paper (from his internship at MERL) which was nominated for the top 5% papers.

Minje gave a talk to the Amazon AWS Audio team on recent development in neural audio coding, speech enhancement, and music applications.

Minje started to serve as Senior Area Editor for IEEE/ACM Transactions on Audio, Speech, and Language Processing.

Minje gave a talk on personalized speech enhancement at the Center for Language and Speech Processing at Johns Hopkins University.

Minje attended and presented two projects at Amazon Lab126 Audio Summit 2022.

Haici started her internship at Microsoft Research Asia in Beijing.
